Rebecca Parker

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Social Sciences as well as a Digital Studies certificate from the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg. The interdisciplinary nature of Digital Humanities is at the core of my undergraduate and graduate work. The combination of history, psychology, and sociology as part of my Social Sciences undergraduate major contributed to my interest in developing digital projects that serve marginalized populations. I look forward to further developing my skills in digital curation, spatial humanities, natural language processing, and collaborative digital pedagogy through the courses and mentorship available to me as a Digital Humanities Master's student at Loyola University Chicago. I am also interested in open access digital methods and the community advocacy for digital accessibility.
